Gardiner Guesthouse

While most of Richard Parks' attention during the summer months is on running the fly shop, he also helps his wife Nancy run the Gardiner Guesthouse, a small bed & breakfast around the corner from the shop. This is a small, homey B&B with three rooms plus a detached cabin, and both small kids and well-behaved pets are welcome. Most of Richard & Nancy's customers are normal tourists, so the Guesthouse isn't an angling lodge per se, but many of our guide trip clients and other customers choose to stay there, and Nancy offers both a 10% discount to Parks' Fly Shop guide service clients and large, hearty breakfasts to keep anglers going until dark.

Since the B&B is quite small, we strongly suggest you book early; in 2010 Nancy and Richard had to turn away half of their potential reservations between Memorial Day weekend and mid-October. They were fully booked every day save the days they chose for their own sanity not to be.

2011 high season rates for the Guesthouse range from $90.00-$125.00 per night for the interior rooms and are $165.00 for the detached cabin. Offseason rates, discounts for extended stays, and discounts for renting the entire house are also available.

The Gardiner Guesthouse has its own site. Much more information is available there. You can also contact Richard for more information.
