  • Mostly gravel/cobble bottom, some boulder fields.
  • Volatile water conditions after rains and during runoff.
  • Decent-sized cutthroat trout (average 12-16″, some up to 20″).
  • Respond well to dry flies, nymphs, and streamers.
  • Prime fishing spots can be numerous, and safety is paramount.
  • Best after spring runoff clears (July onwards).
  • Stoneflies (July), Caddis & Hoppers (August), Mayflies (later).
