General Characteristics
- Easy access with mix of riffles, pools, and narrow gorge (Ice Box Canyon).
- Scenic beauty and consistent hatches.
Fishery
- Cutthroat, hybrid cutthroat-rainbow, and rainbow trout.
- Consistent hatches similar to Lamar River.
Fishing Season
- Upper creek: August
- Junction Meadow: July & mid-September

Skill Level & FIsh Size
- Beginner-friendly due to easy access and calm sections.
- Expect smaller fish in the areas above Ice Box Canyon and larger fish more near the Lamar River Confluence.

- Portions of this river may remained closed in 2024 due to road construction caused by the 2022 flood.
